Our vineyard in Komarna boasts ideal vineyard conditions – the vineyard is located on a limestone hillside at the altitude of 50-180 meters with a slope that varies up to 45 % .

 

The ideal south -southwest orientation, vicinity of the sea and excellent ventilation allow organic farming in the fullest sense, with very little need for spraying and protective treatments of the vine (copper and sulfur).

 

A local microclimate, which enjoys hours of sunshine along with the sea reflection of the sun, location and the reflection of large limestone surfaces, allows above-average insolation .

 

The soil is a mixture of terra rossa and stone , with pH of 7.6 and with traces of salt carried by the bura wind. Our vine is planted at a density of 7,200 grafts per hectare with the following varieties:

    Plavac 12.6 ha
    Pošip 1.65 ha
    Syrah 1.38 ha
    Cabarnet Sauvignon 0.57 ha
    Chardonnay 0.65 ha
    Debit 0.22 ha
